Error Messages Explained

1) Validation Error

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

  • User authentication error: Invalid username and/or password, please try again

This message means that your Username and/or Password have been entered wrongly, you can have as many attempts as you like to enter the correct details. If you think you have forgotten your user details please call us and we can help you.

 2) Validation Error

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

  • User authentication error: Invalid Word Verification Text

This message means that you have entered the word shown in the box incorrectly but your Username and Password are correct

 3)  Validation Error

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

Database error: Listener refused the connection with the following error: ORA-12505, TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor The Connection descriptor used by the client was: 192.168.3.2:1521:avalon

This error means that the Avalon Database connection is not available. When the database connection is lost you will be unable to log in until the connection has been reset.
